Two Jewish converts to Islam in the service of Bayezid II penned earliest known anti-Jewish polemicals Ottoman Empire. This article aims at exploring historical context two epistles and their connection with Islamic polemical literature. The simultaneous appearances Abd al-Salam’s Risāla al-hādiya al-Allam’s al-ilzām al-Yahūd will be discussed Sephardic influx lands, an encounter that stimulated scholarly interest faith among intellectuals.
